About the role
The GelBottle Inc. is on an exciting growth journey, and we're looking for a Senior Management Accountant to be part of our vibrant, founder-led company. This role supports a growing portfolio that includes two stunning villas in Mexico and Brighton, a third currently under renovation in Croatia, and a premium beauty spa in Brighton. It offers a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in a business that blends luxury, creativity and operational excellence.
You’ll work closely with property managers across locations and the Spa’s General Manager, taking full ownership of the financials and helping shape the future of this growing business.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the full management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and key journals
* Lead month-end reporting and performance reviews with the Operations Manager
* Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments
* Process invoices and expenses, and manage supplier and customer setup in NetSuite
* Reconcile bank accounts and payment platforms (Wise, NatWest, PayPal, SumUp, Amex)
* Handle transactional reporting, credit card reconciliations, and expense claims
* Manage the property finance inbox and support with tax accounting (with adviser support)
* Act as the main contact for year-end audit preparation and resolution
* Collaborate with the wider Finance team to streamline processes
* Partner with the Operations Manager and Spa team to improve transparency and stock management
* Support systems development and process improvement across the portfolio.
This role is hybrid, 3 days a week onsite at our Brighton HQ.
About you:
This role is ideal for someone with experience in property, hospitality, or hotel accounting, who enjoys getting hands-on with the detail and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. We think you'll also need:
* Proven experience in property, hotel, or hospitality finance
* Strong working knowledge of Oracle NetSuite or similar accounting software
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* Solid Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
* Clear and confident communicator, able to engage effectively across all levels
* Experience working with multi-currency accounts
* ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
