Our local authority client based in North London are urgently seeking an experienced Repairs Scheduler. *Fully office based* Overview of the role The Housing Repairs Scheduler Planner works closely with Housing Repairs Services Supervisors, as a part of the Housing Repairs Services Team to plan and co-ordinate the working day of Operatives to ensure all works are allocated resources to the satisfaction of the customer, all works in progress are tracked and progressed to satisfactory completion while maximising efficiency and completing each task within the specified time allocations. Key responsibilities * Reallocating scheduled jobs to operative contractors readily available to ensure all resources are effectively utilised. * Action unscheduled jobs and ensure that all emergency and overdue repairs are carried out as per our service agreement. * To raise order on IT systems, plan and dispatch jobs to the best placed operatives or contractor with the right skills to complete the repair first time. * Using excellent communication skills to respond to emails and workflows generated by our In-house systems within agreed timeframes (48 hours). * Dealing with inbound and outbound phone calls from colleagues and clients within corporate guidelines. Knowledge, experience, and skills 1. Minimum of 1 years’ experience of working within a responsive repairs environment and housing management/scheduling systems. 2. Minimum of 1 years’ experience of Planning and Scheduling within a repair working environment, administering a Repairs Scheduling System and works progression including repairs follow on and carry over activities 3. Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, Outlook, Word, and Excel, including phone system technology, to extract and input information 4. Ability to work in a busy environment and able to demonstrate excellent flexibility to working priorities and workload management. 5. Ability to effectively monitor and progress repair works administration duties for in progress repair works, including monitoring, reporting and target led delivery of works progression.
