Working hours: 37 hours per week with occasional evening shifts when required.

Full UK Driving Licence preferred as travel across different sites is required for the role.

Main duties of the job
You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing good clinical practice. Waythroughs clinical teams are supported by a multi-disciplinary Clinical Department. Regular clinical supervision, appraisal, and support with revalidation are available, as well as generous CPD time and annual leave. NMC fees paid. Please be advised there will be travel required across different sites in the region.

Job responsibilities
* To provide alcohol assessments, community detoxifications, and referrals to inpatient or other support networks, including mutual aid.
* To develop onsite service community alcohol detoxifications, working alongside operational colleagues.
* To work with hospitals in providing a managed pathway for people with alcohol misuse, through appropriate referral processes or direct referral.
* To provide healthcare assessments across services, specifically in needle exchanges and outreach services.
* Provide a BBV service that includes screening and vaccination for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C screening, re-screening, and treatment in partnership with specialist services.
* Coordinate and deliver call and recall services for Hepatitis B & Hepatitis A Immunisations, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV Testing.
* Work with wider teams to promote harm reduction across needle exchanges, outreach services, hostels, and other venues.
* Deliver basic wound management and collaborate with specialist services for more complex treatments.
Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of entering complex information onto an electronic/clinical database.
* Experience of assessing clients' healthcare needs and applying best practices to meet clinical and psychosocial needs.
* Experience of generating and implementing initiatives.
* Experience of conducting general health care assessments, including BBV, and delivering health promotion/harm reduction interventions, advice, and information.
Qualifications
* NMC Qualification.
