Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Advanced Pharmacist to join our professional team within the Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, providing highly specialist pharmaceutical care to patients accessing HIV and Sexual Health services.
Responsibilities
* Provide holistic, evidence‑based pharmaceutical care for patients within the HIV and Sexual Health services.
* Act as a clinical specialist and support the Lead Specialist Pharmacist in delivering specialist pharmacy services, including prescribing, support work and initiative development.
* Collaborate closely with service users, families, friends and carers to enhance patient experience.
* Serve as a key leadership figure, modelling professionalism and supporting team development.
* Ensure effective care planning that meets professional standards, is delivered collaboratively with service users and carers, and incorporates quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
* Current registration as a pharmacist (HCPC) and relevant UK qualification.
* Experience in HIV and Sexual Health pharmacy is preferable but not essential; specialist training will be provided to the successful candidate.
* Band 7 pharmacists wishing to progress to an advanced role (Band 8a) are encouraged to apply; a structured development pathway will be offered.
* Ability to obtain and hold a full UK driving licence, if required.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing demands.
