The Role
3. As International Innovations Manager you will be required to work with key stakeholders to establish major projects in overseas locations with primary responsibility for relationship building, strategy planning, forecasting, budgeting, delivery, and reporting.
4. You will also define and deliver the specific objectives of each project, addressing key barriers to the deployment and commercialisation of low carbon technologies.
5. You will need to have the ability to synthesise and clearly communicate the outcomes of detailed analysis, plus have excellent communication and influencing skills and be able to work effectively in a complex environment.
Requirements
6. Degree educated (at least 2.1) ideally in engineering or a scientific discipline
7. Ideally you will hold a professional award (Chartered status) and a post-graduate management qualification
8. Prior experience of technology development / management at a technology or engineering-related business or consultancy firm
9. Prior experience of the electricity, oil / gas or transport sectors, ideally with exposure to one or more low carbon technologies
10. Exposure to senior management and strategic decision at either strategic management consultancy or in a blue-chip corporate strategy / line management role
11. Prior experience of living and working in a variety of international locations
