Full job description
Wolverine Worldwide is a global marketer of branded footwear, apparel, and accessories with an established global footprint that spans approximately 200 countries and territories. We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, service oriented and likes to have fun while they work. You will support the team to work in alignment with our values and act as the go-to person in the absence of the Store Manager. You are a role model for the team and calm under pressure. Never afraid to step in, you make it your priority to be a fountain of knowledge on product and standards. You will assist with administrative and operational duties and general store security.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the store management team in all aspects of running the store including opening and closing the store, cash-handling, stock control, merchandising and maintaining a clean and well-presented store.
* Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to product knowledge.
* Creating amazing experiences for customers through authentic customer service.
* Achieving sales goals and performance metrics and driving the store’s success, by being an ambassador and supporting local marketing efforts.
* Performing other duties as required by the manager.
* Maintain compliance with company policies including health and safety regulations and inventory management.
* Take ownership of stock management and executing visual merchandising guidelines, contributing towards and delivering on store KPIs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
* Demonstrated retail sales success
* Experience in a customer-facing role; supervisory experience is preferred but not essential
* Flexible and adaptable; comfortable in a fast-paced environment
* Flexible schedule and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
