Consultant Diagnostic Neuro Radiologist
We are pleased to advertise an additional substantive Consultant Diagnostic Neuro Radiologist post at North Bristol NHS Trust, supporting and enhancing our team of 9 Diagnostic Neuroradiologists. NBT is a tertiary referral centre for Neurosurgery and the regional centre for Neurological services. A range of subspecialty interests can be accommodated.
The job plan includes subspecialty sessions, attendance at relevant MDTs, and a commitment to daytime emergency work, including urgent neuroscience cases.
The post holder will participate in the Diagnostic Neuro-radiology on-call service, currently run on a prospective 1 in 10 basis, covering NBT and Bristol Children's Hospital. Support is provided by Severn school of radiology registrars and outsourcing arrangements. The Trust will also provide equipment for remote review and reporting.
The position offers a 10 programmed activities (PA) job plan, with 8.5 Direct Clinical Care (DCC) and 1.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPA). There is potential for less than full-time work upon discussion. The job plan and timetable will be tailored to the candidate's subspecialty interests, including multidisciplinary meetings and face-to-face patient lists. Home reporting is also an option.
