Overview
You will lead and manage Payroll Transformation and advisory projects, delivering innovative solutions to clients while promoting change management and technology adoption.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage Payroll Transformation and advisory projects.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Conduct workshops and training sessions to support project activities and deliverables.
* Enable process reengineering and change management to support projects.
* Provide strategic guidance and technical Payroll expertise to clients and teams.
* Contribute to design of tools, enabled by AI/RPA and Machine Learning to support projects.
* Manage, coach, and develop junior members of the team, supporting their personal development and driving team growth.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends to continuously improve our offerings.
Role & Growth Opportunities
* Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches, and client events.
* Internal contribution – Campaign development, whitepapers, practice development, operations, recruitment, events, and offering development.
* Learning & Development – Training, certifications, and career development support.
Your Profile
* Leading HR and Payroll projects enabled by cloud technologies (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle).
* Managing projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project plans, scope, and budget.
* Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
* Experience supporting transformation projects – discovery, solution design, data migration, integrations, testing, change management, go‑live, and hypercare.
* Ability to articulate concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and ensure alignment.
* Currently working in a major consulting firm (or industry) with a consulting background and a proven ability in a matrixed organisation.
* Experience in proposition building and delivery.
* Knowledge of UK Payroll legislation.
