Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning in a primary schools across South Liverpool for February 2026. The successful candidate must have education-related qualifications and experience working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Requirements:
* Relevant education-related qualifications (HLTA status preferred)
* Experience supporting teaching and learning in KS1 and KS2
* Ability to lead lessons in the absence of a teacher
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and child development
Role & Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons
* Lead whole-class, group, and one-to-one sessions as required
* Provide targeted interventions to support pupil progress
* Assist with assessments and classroom management
