About the Role
Join our dynamic Resorts management team as a Facilities Manager, where your leadership will shine! You’ll be at the helm, managing both internal teams and external service providers to ensure that all planned and reactive works are executed to the highest standards. Your domain will encompass a variety of facilities, including:
* Entertainment venues
* Accommodation venues
* Restaurants
* Rides and activity centres
* Landscape areas
This role is all about coordination and control, delivering prompt, efficient, and high-quality service. You’ll ensure that the resort complies with all current statutory legislation while actively seeking opportunities to implement processes and procedures for continuous improvement.
As a leader, you’ll oversee all team activities within the department, including:
* Recruitment
* Performance management
* Team development
Be the advocate for your team’s fulfillment at work! Regular one-on-ones and personal development plan discussions will be key to supporting their growth and career at Butlin’s. You’ll also collaborate with our internal customers to plan and prioritize work, responding swiftly to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.

About You
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Facilities Manager with a strong operational background. You should have a credible history in a similar M&E infrastructure environment, adept at managing the day-to-day operations of a bustling resort.
Key qualifications include:
* Knowledge and experience in electrical, gas, and water systems, ensuring maintenance and adherence to current legislation.
* Good overall understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even during peak demand periods.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and manage multiple priorities.
As our resort operates 24/7, a flexible approach to shift patterns is essential. Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with facilities management software, will be advantageous. Your strong leadership skills will inspire your team to deliver amazing results for our guests every day!
