Overview
Full Time, Permanent. We are looking for permanent, full-time Children’s Social Care Assistants to join the Children in Care and Post 16 Services located within B Bond. You will work as part of a team alongside Social Workers, Personal Advisors, Engagement Workers and Family Support Workers to provide services to children who are in care or care leavers. This role focuses on administration with opportunities for limited direct work with children and their families.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the Children in Care and Post 16 Services teams.
* Use spreadsheets and upload performance information and data onto a database.
* Administer basic financial processes and take minutes at meetings.
* Support the work of the multidisciplinary team and use initiative to contribute to service delivery.
* Occasionally engage in direct work with children and their families, as required.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong organisation and administrative skills; ability to work under pressure.
* Good communication skills and initiative to support team activities.
* Proficiency with spreadsheets and data entry; experience with databases is desirable.
* Ability to handle confidential information and maintain accuracy in documentation.
