Parts Supervisor
Location: Chesham Area
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexibility required for weekends)
About the Role We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Parts Supervisor to join my clients busy depot. In this key position, you’ll take responsibility for leading the parts department, ensuring the efficient supply of parts to support our service and sales operations.
You’ll oversee a small but dedicated team, providing exceptional customer service to both trade and retail clients while driving performance, growth, and profitability within the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and develop the Parts team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve department goals.
* Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
* Support the Service and Sales teams to ensure smooth coordination and efficient operations.
* Manage stock levels, monitor inventory accuracy, and ensure prompt ordering of required parts.
* Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the groundcare and horticultural markets.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and administrative systems.
* Ensure the department is well-organised, clean, and compliant with company standards.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* Proven experience in a Parts, Service, or Aftersales role.
* Strong understanding of parts processes, inventory management, and supplier relations.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
* IT literate, with the ability to use stock management and ordering systems confidently.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours during busy seasonal periods.
