Job Description

Early Years Lead required to oversee and deliver high-quality childcare within a busy holiday club and wraparound care setting in Bradford-on-Avon.

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and qualified Early Years professional to lead activities and support the development of children within our Holiday Club and Wraparound Care provision.

This role requires a Level 3 EYFS childcare qualification due to working with Nursery and Reception-aged children.

Location:

Bradford-on-Avon, BA15

Start Date:

20 July 2026

Contract:

Casual – with optional wraparound care hours during term time from September 2026

Pay:

£15.00 per hour

Working Hours

School Holidays:

* 08:30 – 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
* 40 hours per week during summer holidays
* 20 July – 2 September (excluding weekends & bank holidays)

Term Time (optional wraparound care):

* 07:30 – 09:00 (Breakfast Club)
* 15:00 – 18:00 (After School Club)
* Monday to Friday

Please Note:

* Applicants must hold a Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification
* This requirement is essential due to working with Nursery and Reception children

About the Role

At Junior Adventures Group, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Early Years Lead to join our growing team.

You will be responsible for leading activity delivery, supporting staff, and ensuring a safe, engaging and inclusive environment for all children. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Early Years experience and leadership skills who is looking to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and support the delivery of engaging EYFS-based activities
* Oversee daily routines and ensure high-quality care and provision
* Supervise, support, and motivate team members
* Plan structured activities including multi-sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play
* Ensure compliance with EYFS framework, safeguarding, and health & safety policies
* Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation
* Communicate effectively with parents, staff, schools, and central operations
* Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children
* Take responsibility for safeguarding and welfare of children in your care
* Support behaviour management and promote positive engagement

What We’re Looking For

* Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification – essential
* Experience working within Early Years settings
* Leadership or team supervision experience (desirable)
* Strong understanding of EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
* Passionate about working with children and supporting their development
* Ability to lead by example and inspire a team
