Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? Join our team at Wellpets Vets in Cwmbran, where you'll engage in a diverse range of responsibilities.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse with us, you'll be involved in conducting nurse clinics, assisting in theatre and prep work, providing in-patient and out-patient care, and performing some lab work. This is a full-time position spanning 4 days per week, with a rotating Saturday morning shift (1 in 4). Additionally, we welcome part-time candidates. Shifts typically run from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm and 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, with Saturday hours from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Rest assured, there are no out-of-hours commitments.
About Wellpets
At Wellpets Vets, we take pride in being a first opinion practice with a warm and welcoming team. Our well-equipped facility includes a comprehensive lab featuring haematology, biochemistry, and microscopy capabilities. We utilise cutting-edge technology such as ultrasound and digital x-ray machines, along with multi-parameter monitors and blood pressure monitoring equipment. Moreover, we have a dedicated dental room to ensure comprehensive care for our patients. Conveniently located near the M4, we offer easy access to transport links connecting Bristol and Cardiff.
About Our Talented Team
Join our close-knit team consisting of 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 4 support staff members. Our Practice Manager holds a certification in feline nursing, while our Head Nurse is actively pursuing a certification in Emergency and Critical Care. At Wellpets Vets, we foster a culture of collaboration and support, where every team member is valued for their contributions. We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly and inclusive workplace environment.
