Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Fryer, you will be responsible for preparing various fried dishes to meet our high standards of quality and taste, ensuring that every meal is served promptly and safely.
Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the frying station, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
* Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times.
* Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
* Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
Skills
* Proficient in food preparation techniques, particularly frying methods.
* Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on quality presentation.
* Previous kitchen or culinary experience is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with meal preparation processes and food safety standards.
* Experience in a restaurant environment is an advantage.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
