Role Description
The Trainee SMT Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Haywards Heath. The role includes assembling, operating, and maintaining Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment, preparing electronics manufacturing components, and performing quality checks. The technician will also assist in troubleshooting machinery and supporting the production team to meet operational goals. Comprehensive training will be provided to help candidates gain expertise in SMT processes.
Qualifications
* Problem-solving and troubleshooting: Basic skills in fault diagnosis for machinery/equipment.
* Communication and teamwork: Strong interpersonal abilities to coordinate effectively with production team members.
* Willingness to learn: Motivation to acquire new technical skills and adapt to evolving technologies in electronics manufacturing.
* Prior experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is advantageous but not required.
