Store Manager - V S Leeds Briggate (N99108) at Next. 38.75hrs p/w; Mon 09:00 - 17:30; Tue 09:00 - 17:30; Thu 12:15 - 20:45; Fri 09:00 - 17:30; Sat 11:15 - 19:45.
The role involves taking ownership of the store’s success, inspiring the team to achieve targets, and delivering the best possible customer experience every day.
Responsibilities
* Lead from the heart — train, coach and inspire your team, setting them up for success and developing them to be stars of the future
* Be a role model — motivate and engage the team to embody the brand values, promoting an inclusive and positive working atmosphere that celebrates success
* Put the customer first — provide a friendly, personalised service and ensure the team does the same
* Hands-on operations — own the P&L and lead key KPIs across the store, focusing on profitability and controllable costs (hiring, rotas, payroll, customer success, stock control)
* Visuals — uphold brand visual standards with support from the Visual Team and ensure the team can execute
* Open communication — listen to customers and teammates and share ideas with store partners
* Store upkeep and compliance — manage product launches, floor set changes, store audits, stock counts, H&S policies, and safety
About You / Qualifications
* A wealth of experience — previous store manager experience in a fast-paced store with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and KPIs
* Retail passion — enthusiasm for all aspects of retail, delivering a memorable customer experience
* Leadership with purpose — engage and develop the team around the brand experience
* Relationship building — develop valued relationships with customers, teammates and wider teams
* Adaptability — comfortable with change, multitasking, problem solving and collaboration
* Creative flair — approachable, resourceful, with ability to train, run local incentives and support global initiatives
