Building Control Surveyor
to take ownership of residential projects-typically up to 11 metres in height-working closely with clients from plan check to final certification. This is a great role if you're looking to: Join a respected, expanding business Work autonomously but with technical backup Mentor junior surveyors and add real value to your team Maintain and grow your professional standing with structured CPD What you'll be doing: Reviewing residential development plans for Building Regulation compliance Conducting site inspections and maintaining detailed records Issuing initial notices, certificates, and final sign-off Managing defect resolution and ensuring all regulatory obligations are met Supporting assistant and trainee surveyors as a mentor Contributing to consistent service delivery and strong client relationships What you'll need: BSR Registered Building Inspector - Level 2
(essential) Chartered membership with RICS, CABE, or CIOB Proven experience in plan appraisal and site inspection (ideally residential) Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach A solid understanding of Building Regs, QA systems, and inspection standards What You'll Get in Return: 34 days leave Private Health Care
