Hours: 3 shifts rotating Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week.
As Shift Quality Engineer you will:
Lead, coach, and mentor Shift Quality Technicians and Auditors, ensuring daily priorities are met and serving as a key point of contact on shift.
Support the PPAP process, engineering changes, collaborating with the NPI team to ensure a Safe Launch Process.
Conduct Capability Studies, Measurement System Analysis, and gauge validation to maintain the highest quality standards.
Review CAD drawings and customer standards, ensuring application requirements align with dimensional reports and quality expectations.
Update and maintain process documentation, including Standardised Work Instructions, Process Quality Records, and Quality Alerts.
Perform quality audits, escalate concerns, and provide technical and administrative support to resolve internal and customer quality issues effectively.
What You Will Bring as Shift Quality Engineer:
Proven leadership experience in a shopfloor manufacturing environment, with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering, particularly in die casting, metal forming, automated assembly, or tooling fixtures.
Demonstrated experience with MES Quality Management Systems and conducting internal quality audits.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
A results-driven, self-motivated attitude with outstanding communication and presentation skills to engage with customers and senior management effectively.
You will have current or recent experience as quality engineer, senior quality engineer, senior quality technician, quality auditing or quality inspection engineer
