Company & Role:
Global leader in Engineered Construction Solutions, operating across over 55 countries and a manufacturer of engineered steel and fibre-reinforced polymer construction products. Currently on 30% growth in the UK with circa £40mill turnover.
Due to current postholder relocating, we are looking for a Sales Manager to take the reins and build relationships with the existing distributors across the UK!
This role requires travelling across the UK, Wales & Ireland due to distributors being based all over, therefore you will need to be comfortable with being out on the road regularly.
Products & Services: Concrete reinforcement, ground engineering, plumbing & piping & bar systems.
This is an account management role, looking after exisiting distributors but there will also be a need to develop new relationships and onboarding new distributors and generating new project wins. As Sales Manager UK&I, you will be liaising with multiple stakeholders: from Fabricators/shop floor to Contractors & Consultants (Specification level), Technical Decision-Makers on projects.

Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Sales:
1. Drive business development efforts with rebar fabricators and precast companies, focusing on relationship-building at shop floor level and with key decision-makers.
2. Promote full product and service offering, including premium services.
3. In coordination with the General Manager, Sales UK, identify and qualify key infrastructure and building projects (through fabricators or not); build and maintain a project pipeline.
4. Participate in targeted industry exhibitions to promote solutions, expand professional networks, and conduct market intelligence.
Customer Engagement:
5. Conduct regular visits and presentations to clients and fabrication facilities, ensuring we are top of mind when it comes to innovation, reliability, and service.
6. Educate and train partners on solutions, including in-factory demonstrations of our systems.
7. Coordinate with internal technical and back-office logistics teams to provide optimal customer support and follow-up.
8. Support and coordinate sales efforts with fabricators' sales teams, organizing periodic meetings to refine strategy and set short- and medium-term objectives.
Coordination & Collaboration:
9. Support the regional management team in aligning commercial strategies with project stakeholders (consultants, contractors, fabricators).
10. Participate in key project follow-ups and specification initiatives alongside consultants when needed.
Reporting & Strategic Input:
11. Provide monthly reports covering market activity, project updates, customer feedback, and opportunities for improvement.
12. Contribute to sales forecasts and coordinate with fabricators on capacity and inventory needs.
Requirements
13. A degree in civil engineering or equivalent (ideal)
14. Minimum 3 years of experience in sales within the construction, civils or concrete reinforcement sectors(required)
15. Driving License (required)
16. Commutable to South Wales
17. Experience with precast manufacturing environments and rebar detailing (ideal)
