Position: CNC Miller
Location: Gloucester
Type of position: contract 6- 12 months
Hourly rate: £20.00 to £25.00 per hour PAYE
Working hours: Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 02:00 pm
We are now seeking to recruit 4 CNC milling setters / operators to work for an engineering company based in Gloucester. The appropriate CNC miller will be responsible for machining components that meet the design tolerances as per the manufacturing schedule/ drawings. You will be setting and operating CNC milling 3+ 2 axis machine with Hass controls.
Responsibilities of CNC miller:
* Setting and operating CNC milling machines with 3+2 axis and Haas controls
* Ensure parts conform to drawings and are processed in the allotted timeframe.
* Ensure all documentation is accurate.
* Measuring, adjusting, and maintaining tight tolerance
Responsibilities:
1. Previous experience in CNC setter / operator with knowledge of part editing
2. Ideally have experience of multi-axis milling and some lathes, preferably HAAS.
3. Know how to adjust feeds and speeds to suit a wide range of materials including aluminium, various grades of steel and polymerics e.g. HDPE.
