Your impact
What you will do as an MRP Controller:
To be the technical owner of a specific range of Material Requirements Planning functions whilst further developing experience in all aspects of the role.
1. Amend / update SAP Material Master Data and Operative Networks and schedule requirements
2. Allocate components to ensure best use of company assets in support of all programme objectives
3. Process Purchase Orders for Range Managed parts and Offload Orders
4. Place Production Orders for in house manufactured parts
5. Process and control Service Management Orders for R&O activity
6. Release Purchase Requisitions as purchasing authority to procurement
7. Procure parts from interplant suppliers
8. Action Quality Notifications
9. Operate an on-loan system to provide assets to rig, A/C programmes etc.
10. Run MRP reporting tools and act upon the data outcomes
11. Expedite Material Supply Management
12. Provide technical support on processes and help to train new starters within MRP
13. Review and report on progress and status of work to provide clear statements of position, issues and actions.
14. Monitor and expedite mod kit and repair list shortages
15. Provide kits and shop support to onsite and offsite modification and repair embodiments
16. Provide kit forecasts to internal customers
17. Take part in Business Improvement as necessary and carry out improvement activity
18. Take a proactive approach to personal development
What you’ll bring
19. Educated to HNC level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline or demonstrated equivalent competency obtained through experience
20. Experienced SAP user or equivalent ERP system
21. Integrity and professional approach
22. Background in an Aerospace or high integrity manufacturing environment
23. Knowledge of Company Quality Systems
24. Team worker who is customer focused
25. Knowledge of assembly and/or manufacturing techniques
26. Good communicator

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
