The UK & Ireland Medical Affairs Operations Manager provides a seamless link between internal teams, external service providers, and health professionals to ensure medical projects are delivered on time and executed compliantly.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing expert and autonomous project management for all stakeholders in Medical Communication Projects.
2. Driving review of materials using Veeva Vault.
3. Effective communication with KOLs, internal stakeholders, and third-party providers.
4. Managing Medical Communication projects such as advisory boards, symposia, and round table discussions.
5. Serving as Subject Matter Expert for financial management during internal audits or regulator inspections.
6. Continuously improving processes in collaboration with Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams.
7. Completing projects in a timely and compliant manner, ABPI trained.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Operational Oversight: Managing daily medical operations, tracking status, liaising with vendors and KOLs, and reporting to management.
2. Technology and Systems: Proficiency with Veeva Vault, SAP, Veeva CRM.
3. Process Improvement: Implementing initiatives to streamline workflows and optimize collaboration.
4. Budget & Cost Control: Developing and managing budgets, identifying efficiency opportunities.
5. Compliance & Quality: Ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, licensing, and internal policies.
6. Other: Managing meetings and providing operational support to the Medical team.
