Accounts Senior – Shrewsbury – Up to £40,000 DOE

The Role:
The Accounts Senior will be responsible for:
* Preparing and finalising accounts for a variety of clients
* Completing VAT returns within agreed deadlines
* Undertaking bookkeeping tasks as required
* Identifying and suggesting improvements to client systems and processes
* Liaising directly with clients and resolving queries in a professional manner
* Supporting and reviewing the work of junior members of staff
You:
To be considered for the Accounts Senior position, you should:
* Hold an AAT or ACA/ACCA qualification (QBE will also be considered)
* Have at least four years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice
* Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Be able to manage their own time effectively and handle a busy workload
* Audit experience would be beneficial, though not essential
