Brownlee Cale are working with a Tier One Civil Engineering firm to hire a Forensic Claims Planner to support on a nuclear project. Responsibilities: * Review and assess individual Compensation Events to determine the validity of time-related impacts * Support the supply chain alongside the Claims Planning Manager, to create a consistent and structured claims process. * Engage with supply chain partners, conduct in-person reviews and challenge submitted claims * Collaborate with project and commerical teams and participate in negotiations as required * Apply technical construction expertise * Establish and maintain programme performance metrics * Attend site and virtual meetings to support claims planning activities Requirements: * Proficient in Primavera P6 * Qualification within M&E Engineering / Electrical * Member of an appropriate professional body * 5 years in a Planning role * 2 years of Claims Management experience * Ability to work alongside client * Knowledge of methods for assessing delay and disruption within Civil Engineering projects * Knowledge of NEC Contracts and their core clauses * Previous experience in compiling Impact Assessments for loss of time on Civil Engineering and Construction projects * Strong knowledge of planning tools and techniques If this position is of interest to you, please contact Amy at Brownlee Cale or apply below.
