Registered Manager – Children’s Residential CareSalary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annumBonuses: £5,000 welcome bonus + annual bonusLocation: West Sussex An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established children’s residential home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). With an amazing Ofsted rating, this home supports young people with complex needs and promotes a nurturing, trauma-informed environment. The successful candidate will receive full support and handover guidance, ensuring a smooth transition and confident start. Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of a children's residential service
* Lead and support a dedicated team with mentoring and professional development
* Develop and maintain child-focused care plans in line with regulatory standards
* Manage referrals, build trusted relationships with external professionals
* Monitor budgets, rotas, and service quality to maintain high standards
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and internal policies
* Foster a therapeutic and emotionally supportive environment
Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management of Residential Childcare
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a children’s residential care setting
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted inspections, and compliance
* Knowledge of trauma-informed care models
* Proven leadership and communication skills
* Ability to collaborate with families, professionals, and stakeholders
