The company specialises in medium to heavy engineering, manufacturing a diverse range of components from drawings, 3D CAD models using CAM, design projects and samples.Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist/ Programmer Team Leader with high-level turning and milling skill sets.If you are a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist Team Leader with programming abilities from a Turning/Milling background and are looking for your next challenge, then we can offer you a great working environment and excellent future opportunities.Benefits39 hours working weekTravel allowanceFree on-site gym facilitiesFree private individual health insurance and health care cash planFree on-site parkingCompany pension scheme30 days holiday including bank HolidaysOvertime availability (OT paid at time and a half)Progression opportunitiesRefer a friend scheme £** on passed probationRole & ResponsibilitiesManufacture components to drawings and specifications, working to exacting standards and precision and within the company quality, health and safety, and work control proceduresAdhere to internal quality procedures and maintain the standards necessary to satisfy the company quality standards (ISO 9001:2015)Assist in the development of Tooling Libraries and Standard Operating ProceduresAssist in the day to day running of the Turning and Milling Sections; the organisation of staff, materials, and equipment to ensure that the sections deliver an efficient and high-quality service.Assist in training and staff development including mentoring apprenticesIdentify and collaborate with continual improvement strategiesAdhere to the company Health and Safety Policy and proceduresPromote an employee-orientated company culture that emphasises quality, health and safety, continuous improvement, and high performanceYou will have experience in:Conversant in Haas and or Heidenheim programmingConversant in Fanuc and Siemens programmingHaas Machining Centres (vertical and or horizontal)Doosan 700LM II Mill/Turn and Weiler E-Series Flat BedAbility to read and interpret technical drawings/geometric tolerancing.Experience of working with castings, forgings, alloy, and stainless steelsVice, jigs and fixturing, angle plates and rotary axis experienceYou will have qualifications and skills in:Recognised Apprenticeship in Mechanical EngineeringAbility to produce high quality precision components to tight tolerancesBe conversant with imperial/metric measurements and measuring equipmentBe conversant with modern machining practices/methods and toolingProgramming abilitiesCAM software knowledge would be advantageous but non-essentialUnderstand technical drawings and geometric toleranceMethodical approach with a high degree of diligenceStaff supervision and training/mentoringExcellent time and utilisation skillsInitiative-taking/an enthusiastic approachWork Authorisation: Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.TPBN1_UKTJ
