As a HR Assistant at Wren, you will be a key member of the Head Office and Transport HR team. The team pride themselves in the provision and delivery of a high quality and business aligned HR service. You'll be an integral part of team, supporting both the HR Advisors and yet adopting a case load and projects of your own. This position will be based at our Head Office at Barton-upon-Humber. It's a FTC for 6 months What Wren Offer: Life Assurance after 2 years’ service Access to Benenden health and discount platform after 1 years of continuous service Personalised progression plan with clear career opportunities Individual training budget for personal development Staff discount on purchasing a kitchen/bedroom after 1 year of continuous service Eye Care Vouchers Refer a Friend Scheme Free onsite gym Main Responsibilities: Support and provision of an operationally excellent HR support and responsible for smooth and effective workflows Maintenance and interrogation of HR systems and databases Under the guidance of the HR Advisors, provision of comprehensive written and verbal Employee Relations advice covering a broad spectrum of cases, including long term sick and occupational health Creation and distribution of weekly/monthly reports within the team Supporting and partnering with the wider People team with key HR programs and projects Provision of administrative support including case note taking duties for HR Advisors & HRBPs when required Maintaining, updating relevant paperwork and other ad hoc HR duties About You Desired Skills & Knowledge: Good knowledge of HR and HR related procedures Strong communicator both verbally and in writing Ability to influence and constructively challenge Strong administrative skills Experience in collating and producing reports – including a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Accuracy/ Attention to detail Basic knowledge of UK employment law Previous experience in either a HR related role About The Company At Wren we’re passionate about all things kitchens, and now bedrooms too!
