Overview
North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC) are looking to recruit a forward-thinking and motivated individual to join our team of Acute Medicine Consultants. This is a Locum Consultant post with specialist registration. The role will provide care across both West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven, and the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, though will primarily be based at Carlisle.

Role and responsibilities
Acute Medicine runs 2 Acute Medical Units with an unselected medical take at both sites. The team delivers Same Day Emergency Care services for Acute Medicine on both sites, and is involved in a wide range of transformational improvement work in this area. The post involves working across sites as required, with primary base at Carlisle and potential involvement in service development and improvement initiatives.
