HR M&A is part of the Integration & Separation team in Deal Advisory, working on large global integrations, separations and joint ventures across multiple sectors. We focus on people and culture to drive value in deals.
Responsibilities
* Lead client delivery and support practice development for the Technology in M&A team.
* Prepare, plan and deliver HR M&A programmes and due diligence.
* Lead client meetings, advise on strategy development, organisational design, people transitions and synergy analysis for acquisitions, divestitures and carve‑outs.
* Produce high‑quality transaction reports and transitional service agreements.
* Build and expand client relationships; act as the primary point of contact and interface with senior client and KPMG stakeholders.
* Deploy technology to improve cost and delivery efficiency.
* Collaborate with HR M&A partners, I&S and Deal Advisory teams to identify and win new deal opportunities.
* Oversee staff development, mentor junior team members and drive digital innovation.
* Own engagement management, including quality, risk, scope, budget and client communication.
Qualifications & Experience
* Significant consulting or industry experience preparing and delivering HR, organisational design or strategy programmes in an M&A environment.
* Deep expertise in one or more of the following: operating model, talent retention, employee experience, workforce optimisation, or labour relations.
* Understanding of the deal lifecycle and HR’s role from due diligence through to transitional service agreements.
* Experience leading client meetings and managing client relationships.
* Team management and development experience.
* Bachelor’s degree (professional qualification welcome).
* Excellent written and verbal communication, programme management and reporting skills.
* Ability to learn quickly, thrive in ambiguous, high‑pressure situations, and travel as required.
* Fluency in a European language is beneficial; flexible to work in a hybrid environment.
