Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Southampton or Sutton (Hybrid – 2 days on-site)
£500-550 a day | 6-month contract (extension likely) | Start ASAP
We’re looking for an SRE to help us keep systems fast, reliable, and scalable. You’ll join a collaborative team that thrives on automation, innovation, and rock-solid infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
* Build and run high-performance, cloud-based environments (AWS)
* Troubleshoot complex system issues and performance bottlenecks
* Implement top-tier monitoring, CI/CD, and IaC best practices
* Collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement
What You Bring
* Deep Linux know-how
* Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.)
* AWS expertise (VPC, RDS, EC2, ECS/EKS)
* IaC mastery (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
* Containerisation (Docker) + CI/CD experience
* Obsessed with automation, reliability & monitoring

* Clear communicator (tech → non-tech)
