The role details include availability windows, pay information and what you can expect as a Tesco colleague. Availability and shift patterns are set with three weeks’ notice of shifts. We are open to flexible working where times do not exactly match advertised windows.
Availability and hours
Availability windows by the week are described as the following time periods. The business will schedule contracted hours within these times, with three weeks’ notice of shifts. You may have flexibility if your availability is close but not exact to the advertised times.
Average pay: hourly rate from £12.45 (rising to £13.66 in stores within the M25). Additional location-based payments may apply.

Responsibilities
* Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride
* Be knowledgeable about store products and services
* Work across service, picking and replenishment areas as required
* Apply training to work safely and effectively while delivering excellent service
* Make customer-centered decisions and deliver routines that meet needs
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events
* Understand store performance and contribute to driving service, sales, waste reduction and profitability
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure proper delivery
* Represent Tesco values and follow policies
* Occasionally assist with deliveries into the store
