Rullion are looking to recruit for the following role for one of our leading Global clients.
Role : Mechanical Design Engineer
Location : Oxford
Duration : 6 months initially
ASAP Start
Rate of pay : Inside IR35 - £34.50-45 Per hour (PAYE Or Umbrella)
Temperature R&D test equipment
Hybrid Working- Must be able to commute 3 days a week.
Responsible for realising concepts for low temperature R&D test equipment
Must Have:
1. NX- preferred although can be trained if have a strong background
2. Significant 2D drafting Experience
3. GD&T
4. Working with quality regulations
5. Prepared to be onsite Oxford 5 days a week as and when required .
Good to have
6. TeamCentre experience
7. Hands on assembly experience
8. Ability to communicate ideas and designs to Stakeholders
9. Root Cause Analysis methodologies

Mechanical Design Engineer (1)
Brief:
We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to design and bring to market superconducting magnets for MRI applications.
The right candidate will have a wide range of industrial experience and be able to demonstrate evidence of strong problem-solving skills.
The work entails design and bringing to fruition custom tooling to enable introduction of new manufacturing processes. This hands-on role includes drawing, model and BOM creation along with building and test support.
A strong background with CAD packages is a requirement (NX preferred), as is a focus on design for manufacture and design for cost.
Previous work in a manufacturing environment, close liaison with suppliers will also be an advantage.
