Health Records Clerk
We are recruiting for a Health Records Clerk to be based in our Health Records Department in Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. Previous experience is not required as on the job training will be provided. You will predominantly begin your training in our Filing Library and then be exposed to other duties within the department, both on the Prince Philip Hospital and Dafen Industrial Estate sites.
Responsibilities
* Filing and retrieving of patient records, locating, and providing patient records for all outpatient appointments, planned admissions and day case attendances.
* Operation of a computerised patients administration system, including inputting and retrieval of data.
* Arranging patients' hospital appointments via the appointment centre and general phone duties.
* Scanning of records for a number of departments.
A flexible approach to the needs of the service is required and to undertake additional duties as and when required. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is vital.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
