Biology Teacher – Bolton – September Start
A dedicated and passionate Biology Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Bury, starting in September until July 25. The position is full-time, five days a week, and open to both ECTs and experienced Biology teachers. It is advantageous if you can also teach Chemistry and/or Physics to Key Stage 3.
You will be expected to become fully involved within the Science department and the school community, attending departmental meetings, being available for parents’ evenings, and planning and delivering engaging, high-quality Biology lessons that challenge students and promote their learning. You will also be responsible for marking work and providing feedback.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
* Degree educated with a good classification
* Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, QTS, etc.) with Biology or another Science subject
* Previous experience working with young people (references available)
* Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (references available)
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year)
* Up-to-date Prevent awareness training (issued within the last 3 years)
* Up-to-date behaviour management & FGM training (training can be provided)
Eligibility Requirements:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application (cost to be specified)
* Provide a minimum of two professional references
