Senior Geo‑Environmental Engineer - Contract (12 Weeks, Starting September) We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Geo‑Environmental Engineer to lead remediation works on a highly contaminated site. This contract role will start in September for a minimum of twelve weeks, with strong potential for extension depending on project progress. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of site remediation, including designing and implementing remedial strategies from desktop studies through to validation. Oversee intrusive investigation and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and health and safety standards. Conduct mining investigations, assess shallow mine workings, and design mitigation/stabilisation measures. Run the site independently, coordinating contractors and subcontractors, and providing effective on‑site decision‑making. Supervise earthworks, monitoring quality and materials, providing technical guidance through to project handover.
