Overview
We're looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Natural Resources team based at our Mogden Treatment works site in Twickenham for Thames Water. Location: Twickenham, London. Contract: Permanent, full time. Talk to us about flexible hours. Open to work away from home for part of the week? We'll cover the cost.
Responsibilities
* Technical assurance of design, engineering, calculations, specifications
* Assisting with preparation of flowsheets and engineering line diagrams and supervising plant layout and pipework design including 3D modelling
* Managing the supplier/contractor procurement process from enquiry to delivery
* Site support during construction and commissioning including field engineering assignments
* Reviewing designs & proposals for conformance with applicable regulatory standards, policies, and codes of practice
What we're looking for / Qualifications
* A HND / HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering
* Experience of mechanical engineering in process related industries in particular the Water Industry; Sewage Works and Water works.
* Specific expertise in the design, layout, engineering and specification of process plant and piping for the Water industry
