Responsibilities
* Extensive CRM expertise: Minimum 5+ years of digital CRM experience, ideally with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to drive Primark’s evolving CRM programme across email, app, and SMS channels globally.
* Strategic leadership: Own and lead the creation of the global CRM campaign calendar, ensuring alignment with the overall Brand/Content calendar and delivering a consistent outbound strategy across all markets.
* Campaign ownership & execution: Manage end-to-end CRM campaign development—from strategy through execution—while maintaining high-quality standards and incorporating localisation feedback.
* Cross‑functional collaboration: Partner with CRM Customer Engagement Manager, Content, and Brand teams to optimise channel usage (email, SMS, push notifications) and identify planning and optimisation opportunities.
* Team management & development: Lead and organise the CRM campaign team (3 heads), oversee workload, ensure QA excellence, and support training and development initiatives.
* Innovation & continuous improvement: Work with Senior CRM Manager to implement test‑and‑learn strategies, troubleshoot issues, accelerate rollouts, and deliver insights for automated customer journeys and future CRM activities.
Qualifications
* Adaptability & problem‑solving: Thrive in a fast‑paced environment, delivering solutions despite unforeseen obstacles and complex business requirements.
* CRM expertise: Possess deep knowledge of CRM principles and demonstrate confidence in creating and managing a comprehensive campaign calendar.
* Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication, managing expectations, and consistently delivering on commitments.
* Attention to detail: Take full responsibility for the quality of CRM campaign outputs, ensuring accuracy and excellence in execution.
* Leadership & coaching: Ability to lead, influence, and mentor team members to achieve high‑quality, results‑driven work.
* Technical & industry experience: Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, email marketing, HTML/AmpScript basics, and working with creative agencies; familiarity with e‑commerce or retail is a plus.
