Overview
Support Worker role at Community Integrated Care. Location: Drumoyne/Govan area of Glasgow. Employment type: Maternity Cover full-time contract until end April 2026. The team supports 6 gentlemen who share a large bungalow in a quiet estate.
Responsibilities
* Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives
* Administer medication as required (full training provided)
* Provide 24-hour support with a flexible rota, including some weekend shifts and occasional waking nights
* Work toward helping individuals with varied healthcare and mobility needs
* Engage in activities and support their routines, fostering choice, dignity and respect
Qualifications
* Experience of working in the social care or healthcare sector is preferred
* Ability to communicate with health professionals; willingness to learn and adapt
* Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role
* Flexible with shift patterns and rosters
