Location: Sheffield, Birmingham, UK (3 days/week onsite)
Duration: 6 months+
Rate: 450 GBP/day Inside IR35
Banking Client Experience Required
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Business Analyst to work with our banking client, supporting IT infrastructure initiatives and transformation programs. The role involves gathering requirements, analyzing infrastructure needs, and acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with stakeholders to capture and document infrastructure-related requirements (network, servers, cloud, data centers, etc.).
* Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for infrastructure delivery teams.
* Support infrastructure projects such as migrations, upgrades, and platform transitions.
* Conduct impact assessments, gap analysis, and feasibility studies.
* Prepare documentation including business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth delivery.
* Assist in risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst within IT Infrastructure projects (banking domain preferred).
* Strong understanding of infrastructure components (servers, storage, cloud, networks, security).
* Experience working in large-scale banking or financial services environments.
* Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
* Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in banking IT.
