Job Title: Facilities Manager Location: London - Bounds Green Working Hours: 40 hours per week Job Overview As Facilities Manager, reporting to the Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day team of site supervisor and engineers, along with the Site Facilities Co-ordinator on Hitachi Rail - Bounds Green Depot. Duties include liaising with Hitachi and Mitie Sub-Contractors and Mitie Mobile engineers ensuring that an effective and efficient service is delivered and maintained across the site. Maintain Service levels in line with the contractual CI's, KPI's and PI's and monitor and control supplier, sub-contractor and labour costs to ensure financial targets are achieved. Build a strong working relationship with internal and external customers including sub-contractors to ensure that all services are delivered in a professional, timely and cost-effective manner, while always managing Health and Safety. This role also requires the FM manager to be the responsible person for the L8 requirements for the water systems onsite. You will compile accurate management information/reporting as required and submit in a timely manner to appropriate stakeholders and play a key role to support any site audits, including but not limited to, quality, health and safety, environmental and finance. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the TMC infrastructure is always functioning to support daily train fleet availability in line with contractual targets. Main Duties Managing the contracted facilities services to client sites within their area of responsibility; ensure they are aligned to the Mitie business unit operational processes and procedures. To establish, maintain and develop effective professional working relationships with clients, Mitie staff and other key stakeholders. Ensure service delivery is in accordance with contractual requirements and SLA / KPI's. Support and manage subcontractor work, reviewing RAMS, Raising Permits on client systems & setting to work in accordance to Mitie/Hitachi procedures. There may be occasions where you will be expected to attend sites out of normal working hours due to staff working patterns or manage out of hours works. The successful Facilities Manager will have experience of FM delivery, including an awareness of CDM regulations and proven success in an operational manufacturing environment, worked within process-led, regulated organisations and/or industries. Hold a suitable Health and Safety certificate (IOSH Managing Safely or similar) and Knowledge of Quality Management Systems is extremely desirable. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record managing multi-disciplined teams including recruitment, disciplinaries, grievances, appraisals, and performance management. Can show an ability to manage operational finance, i.e. management of WIP, debt and billing activities and highly computer literate and experienced in using Microsoft applications.
