About the Role
Are you ready to take your sales career to the next level? We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Area Sales Manager to spearhead the growth of our Power & Pump division across the Midlands & South East. In this role, you will:
* Coordinate, manage, and deliver the Sales plan for your territory.
* Introduce our innovative range of products and services to the market, identifying strategic opportunities to expand our market share.
* Collaborate with colleagues to provide industry-leading standards to our valued customers.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with existing customers.
* Prospect for new customers and explore opportunities with current clients.
* Engage in continuous personal development to enhance your product and application knowledge.
* Contribute to and utilize Carrier Rental System data systems, especially our CRM.
* Provide insightful reports on customer inquiries, hires, and sales in your designated area.
* Assist in the collection of payments due for services rendered in your territory.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* Outside sales experience in generators or power generation equipment.
* Experience in selling and specifying pumps is a plus.
* Familiarity with sustainable energy solutions like solar or battery storage, or plant rental experience.
* Strong MS Office skills.
* Effective communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
* A self-motivated attitude and a passion for success.
* A valid UK driving license.
