We are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant for a temporary position in Sports industry, based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will support the Accounting & Finance department, ensuring accurate financial processes and records.

Description
* Assisting with financial reports and ensuring all financial data is accurate.
* Providing support to the Accounting & Finance department in managing, processing, and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions.
* Collating and entering data into databases, ensuring that records are complete and current.
* Reviewing and adhering to department budgets.
* Processing invoices and following up on payment.
* Preparing monthly financial reports.
* Reconciling any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients.
* Performing other duties as needed to support the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
* A strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with financial software.
* Proactive problem-solving abilities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work well within a team.
Job Offer
* Hourly rate up to £13.50ph, dependent on experience
