Your new role
Core Responsibilities
Manage bookkeeping for a variety of clients (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies).
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts.
Prepare VAT returns and assist with compliance tasks.
Liaise with clients to answer queries and provide guidance.
Process purchase and sales invoices, manage supplier payments, and reconciliations.
Support the wider team with ad-hoc accounting duties.What you'll need to succeed
Proven bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice or similar environment.
Strong technical skills across bookkeeping, VAT returns, and reconciliations.
Proficiency in software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
A relevant qualification (e.g., AAT) or qualified by experience.What you'll get in return
