Unlock Your Potential as a Category Finance Manager

The Category FinanceManageristhe gatekeeper of the commercial cluster P&L of the ANZ portfolio. The roleownsthe IT&E and New Product Development business case development for its cluster and provides clusterfinancial reporting, supports the Cluster WIPandprovidesanalysis forthe Monthly Performance ReviewandForecasting processes.Italso supportstheAnnualOperatingPlan, andworkscross-functionally (withSales Finance,Revenue Management, Category Development, Sales, Marketing and Operations) todeliver the year and plan the future.

Key responsibilities

Delivering the Year

1. Preparing and analysing actualand forecastedperformanceusing variance analysis to arrive at root causesand action plans

2. Work cross-functionally with SalesandTrade Financeto vet financials of customer-facing opportunities and assess tradespend issues

3. Act as the gatekeeper of theclusterP&L by challengingthe salesteam tooptimizefinancial results and paybacks, develop and execute plans to control supply chain losses, costing analysis, andoversee portfolio initiatives such as new product development projects

4. Own and support the marketing heads of clusterto drive the P&L includinginNPDbuildingbusiness cases, running Cluster WIPanddelivering theinnovation pipeline

5. Addvalue to the business by ensuringcross-functional teamreceivestimelyinformation and understand its implication to support great business decisions

Corporate Reporting

6. Supportthe Monthly Performance Reporting, ensuring that business drivers ofclusterperformance vs plan and prior year are clearly understood and communicated to key stakeholdersusing Price Volume Mix analysis

7. Support the monthly forecasting processensuring that forecasts loaded by the ANZ sales team at cluster/category level are sensible vs. plan and prior periods

8. Supportthe annual budget process and presentation for the portfolio

Planning the Future

9. Preparing inputs for andanalysingfinancial forecast, Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Planincluding zero based budgeting

10. Own the business cases for new products and renovation/innovationprovidinga financial viewand coordinating inputs across the functions

11. Work cross-functionally with Marketing in development of innovation P&Ls

12. Work cross-functionally with Operations to enable complete business reporting and understanding

13. Perform assigned tasksin accordance withall Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies,programsand goals

14. Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and to work in a way that contributes to the company’s vision

What you'll bring

15. Advancedcomputer skills in Microsoft Exceland PowerPoint. Knowledge ofAccesshighly regarded

16. Systems knowledge such asTableau, Demantra, JDA, SAP,IRitools (i.e. Temple, UNIFY),Quantiumhighly regarded

17. 5+ year’s work experience that compliments financial training, experience in FCMGis desirable

18. Bachelor’sDegreeinAccounting/Financeorother numericaldiscipline

19. CA/CPA is desirable

20. Passionate and driven about delivering results

21. Strong analytical skills and financial acumen to assess data and arrive at root cause, with ability to succinctly explain key drivers to senior audience

22. Ability to business partner with head of clusters to drive both thelong termportfolioevolution andshort termdelivery of the P&L

23. Ability to think strategicallyabout dataand translate this thinking intothe “so what”

24. Problem-solving mentality with ability to navigate a high pace environment
