Overview
Barnet Lane Clinic is a 30-bed rehabilitation service for men and women with a mental illness, including those diagnosed with a personality disorder. The service specialises in working with individuals who may have had placement breakdowns and need intensive review and support to help them move to more independent living.
What you will be doing
You will join an inclusive and supportive team that provides care to people with Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway toward leading a valued and fulfilled life. Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.
The role can be challenging, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. It is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement.
The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends. 40.25 hours per week.
