Senior Solution Architect - Defence - £75,000-£95,000
(Hybrid - Weekly Travel to Corsham)
A specialist technical consultancy is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, large-scale, cloud- solutions for Defence and security clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and document technical requirements, architectures, and designs
* Deliver end-to-end solutions across software, infrastructure, and networks
* Provide expert consultancy on technology strategy and choices
* Deploy systems in hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, private cloud)
* Lead technical teams and manage stakeholder relationships
* Own project deliverables through the full life cycle
Requirements:
* Proven experience with MOD or Defence cloud- architectures
* Strong background in IT modernisation and enterprise design
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
* Confident in both high-level planning and hands-on solution delivery
* Active DV clearance required
Desirable:
* Open-source tech in secure environments
* Familiarity with MOD governance and DevSecOps practices
