Responsibilities
* Guide and coach the team to inspire a “customer first always” approach.
* Ensure the floor team is set up operationally to deliver the best customer experience, maximising sales.
* Provide training to deliver service expectations and manage performance with regular feedback in the moment.
* Respond to a changing retail environment, driving service to meet customer needs and supporting store operations front and back of house.
* Serve as a support to the Store Manager to develop the team and drive sales and service goals.
Additional Responsibilities
* Drive results with a focus on service as the primary KPI and customer delight.
* Support stock flow, returns, and achieving all sizes out targets; ensure efficient operational processes with the team.
* Maintain up-to-date training, with ongoing performance feedback for the team.
Operational & Compliance
* Adhere to company policies and procedures and keep team documentation up to date.
* Support HR processes and supply necessary documentation for the retail leadership team.
* Manage cash handling, delivery paperwork, and back-of-house operations.
* Ensure H&S policies are followed and escalate issues to Head Office within required timeframes.
Commercial & Growth
* Work towards Sales Plans and KPI targets with a service-focused approach.
* Develop a focused team capable of achieving customer-focused results.
* Maintain knowledge of the marketplace and competition to inform commercial decisions.
* Identify ideas to increase sales and contribute to business improvements.
Future Focus
* Seek opportunities to improve and encourage the team to try new ideas.
* Support multi-channel development and understand its commercial impact.
Skills & Qualities
* Ideally have worked in a supervisory or management role in a customer-facing environment
* Retail exposure beneficial
* Ability to thrive in a sales-targeted environment
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Initiative, problem-solving, leadership ability, and decision-making
* Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, time management, conflict resolution, teamwork
