Description
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Assessments Officer (Student Casework), where you'll lead on managing Academic Appeals and Academic Integrity cases and supporting development in processes led by the Assessments and Progression team. This role would be well-suited to someone who values collaboration, precision, and contributing to meaningful advancements in higher education.
About the Role
The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing the administration of Academic Appeals and Academic Integrity cases, ensuring that processes are handled efficiently, fairly, and in line with University policies, in order to support student success and uphold academic standards.
The post-holder will support the Assessments Manager in delivering core assessment activities and contribute to enhancement work arising from audits and reviews. This includes developing and refining processes, producing data reports to identify trends, and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
As a key point of contact for staff and students, the post-holder will provide expert advice on all assessment policies, deliver training sessions, and work collaboratively across departments and partner institutions.
About You
· Excellent attention to detail and capacity to work accurately with large data sets
· Strong communication skills
· Significant recent administrative experience
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
· Experience of working with student, customer or client casework
· Strong team-working
· Experience of a relevant working environment, including Higher Education

Additional Information
Salary Grade 6 - Starting from £33,482 rising to £37,174 per annum
The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
