Let's get something straight:
This isn't a HR job where you'll be sat in some ivory tower, sending out 'wellness' emails and calling it culture.
This is real HR. Boots on the floor. Sleeves rolled up. Helping line managers who've had three hours of sleep, a missed delivery, and a production line meltdown and still need to have that difficult conversation with someone about lateness.
That's where you come in.
You'll be the HR Business Partner to one of the busiest manufacturing sites. 100's of people, multiple shifts, constant movement. If you like things predictable, this probably isn't your gig.
But if you're sharp, unflappable, and genuinely care about making work better for people, you'll do well here.
What you'll actually be doing:
Supporting line managers who need more than just a policy PDF
Advising on absence, ER, disciplinaries - you know, the proper stuff
Coaching and influencing senior managers (yes, even the ones who 'don't do HR')
Driving engagement, retention, succession planning - all the good HRBP buzzwords
Making sure we do things legally, ethically, and without unnecessary faff
